Everyday Eye Makeup in Under 5 Minutes
A polished everyday eye look doesn't need ten products — three, used well, get you most of the way there in under five minutes.
The three-product routine
- A neutral matte shadow close to your skin tone, swept across the lid to even out texture and add subtle depth.
- Brown or black-brown mascara on the top lashes only — it opens the eyes without looking heavy.
- A thin brow gel to set brows in place, since groomed brows do a lot of the 'put-together' work on their own.
One optional upgrade
If you have an extra minute, add a soft brown eyeliner smudged along the upper lash line only — it adds definition without the precision a sharp winged liner requires.
Do I need a primer for a 5-minute look?
Not strictly — for a quick everyday look, a good moisturizer under your makeup is usually enough. Primer becomes more useful for makeup that needs to last a full day or through heat.
